I have checked your lab assignments. Everything is great except two common problems:
1. In the header section, if you use h1 for your heading, you have to realize top and bottom margins come with any h1, h2, h3 and p definitions as predefined, so either you have to define this h1 font to a smaller size or to add more height to your header section. In this way, your heading does not spill over the bottom border of your header section.
2. For the four images and 4 links section, I asked for a background. I also asked for a border around this background (only on the outside, not in between the images). You do have to use compound CSS definition or a class to define this specific div or row. “border-spacing” does not look the same.
If you have time, please have these places updated.

Nice seeing you in class after the storm.
I have changed the due date for Assignment 10 from next Friday, November 23 to the following Monday, November 26, so that you might have extra three days to work on the assignment. For those who would like to pick up the third Adobe DVD, I have left four DVDs in my mailbox in the GSLIS office – two for Windows, two for Mac. You may pick one up anytime when you are on campus.
Joy mentioned in class that there is no Save As CS5 choice in Photoshop CS6. I tried to open her CS6 file in Photoshop CS5 and it worked! So it looks like Photoshop is back version compatible You don’t have to worry about Save As if you are using CS6. Sorry about the confusion. Flash Professional is another story. You do have to use Save As and choose CS5. Otherwise, I cannot open your file in CS6 version.
Our Flash2 session on next Wednesday is an online session. I will see everyone on November 28 for JavaScript. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Dear all,
We have class scheduled on campus tonight. I know it is hard for some of you to come in due to the gas shortage and the coming Nor’easter storm. Use your best judgement and safety is always your priority. I will be in the lab at 6:40 pm to cover the Photoshop portion for last week and this week. If you are not able to come in, please watch the YouTube videos and work on the assignments. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions on assignments and any concerns for your current situation.
Be safe and see you tonight and/or next Wednesday.
