I have extended the due date for lab assignment to Friday, November 16 at 8:00 am since some of us still have no power as of today. Hopefully the power will be back this weekend. See you all on Wednesday, November 7.

Quiz 4

Quiz 4 has been set up to remain open until Friday, November 2 at 6:30 pm. You may take it any time untill then. If you are still out of power by that time and encounter difficulty finishing Assignment 7 by next Monday , please let me know.

Photoshop Trial

We are starting Photoshop from Wednesday. If you still have a trial disc with you, you may install Photoshop on your computer. If you have returned the DVD back to me already, you may go to adobe.com to download the Photoshop trial online. However, this online version is CS6. If you are using CS6 version, please Save As CS5 version before submitting your assignment to the Blackboard (this is for Assignment 9). At the same time, please be aware that we have CS5 at the lab. As a result, if you intend to continue your assignment at the lab, you have to Save As CS5 before heading to the lab.

You may also download Dreamweaver from Adobe.com if yours are to expire within this week. I will bring in a new set of DVDs next Wednesday. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dear all,

Hope everyone is safe!

Queens College remains closed on Wednesday, October 31. So this week’s class will be an online session. I have all the Youtube video links on the class blog as we start with Photoshop. We will meet in the lab next Wednesday for our 2nd session on Photoshop. At that time, we will go over some of the skills for Photoshop session one if you have any questions.

Quiz 4 will be open today at 6:30 pm and will remain open until the first day of the opening of Queens College at 6:30 pm to accommodate those who have lost power at home. The due date for Assignment 7 will be extended to next Monday 8 am.
